Arsenic Pollution
Arsenic is a type of poison that causes great damage when mixed with water. It is one of the biggest problems of our country. It is found in water, especially tube well water. People suffer a lot by drinking this water. It causes pain in the fingers or any other part of the body.
Drinking arsenic-contaminated water makes people sick in a variety of ways. Sometimes the pain turns into gangrene and then into cancer. Thus, arsenic pollution is a major threat to human life. There is currently no medical treatment or cure for arsenicosis.
But we can prevent this disease. To prevent arseniosis, we should drink water from a source that does not contain arsenic. Tube sumps must be tested to separate the safe from the unsafe. More test tubes that are free of arsenic and bacteria should be created.
The surface water in the lake and river is free of arsenic and therefore can be used after treatment. Rainwater should be collected for drinking in a bacteria-free container.
